Slow is not a
marketing word here

A shawl on a frame loom takes eleven days. We have tried to make it take fewer and the cloth got worse, so eleven days is what it takes.

Nine weavers work with us across three villages. They set their own hours, keep their own looms, and are paid per finished length rather than per day, which is the arrangement they asked for.

Nothing here is dyed with anything we would not put our hands in. Indigo, madder, iron, myrobalan. The colours move a little over years. That is the material behaving like a material.
